Editorial policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026. Gainly publishes calculators and articles on saving, loans, investing and tax for people in India, in English, Gujarati and Hindi. This page explains how that content is written, checked and corrected.
Who is responsible
Gainly is run by Manoj from Rajkot, Gujarat. He decides what is published and is answerable for every page on the site. More about the site is on the about page.
What we write about
- Real money questions people in India ask: how much to invest, which loan option costs less, how a rule or a tax works.
- Every article answers one question with worked examples in rupees, so you can see the actual numbers and not just general advice.
- We don’t publish paid or sponsored articles. Banks, fund houses and advertisers don’t pay for, review or approve what we write, and we don’t push any particular product.
How articles are written
Articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. A draft is not published as it comes: the numbers are worked out again with our calculators, the rates and rules are checked against the official sources, and Manoj reads the article and decides whether it goes live.
The sources an article relies on (RBI circulars, bank rate pages, Income Tax rules and so on) are linked inside the article, so you can open and check them yourself.
How the numbers are checked
- Numbers in an article are worked out with the same calculators you can use on this site. The assumptions behind them (rate, years, tax slab) are written next to the numbers.
- Rates and rules are checked against official sources such as RBI, the Income Tax Department, SEBI, AMFI, India Post and the banks’ own websites.
- The Gujarati and Hindi versions use the same numbers as the English one. If one changes, all three are updated.
- Each article shows the date it was published, or the date it was last updated.
Corrections
Rates, tax rules and schemes change often. When they do, we update the article and its date. If you find a mistake, write to hello@gainly.in with the page link. We reply within 2–3 working days, and a wrong number is fixed as soon as it is confirmed.
What our content is not
Articles and calculators are for general information. They are not personal financial, tax or investment advice, and Gainly is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser. Read the disclaimer before you rely on any figure.
