  • When the retail portion is oversubscribed this much, each lucky application gets just one lot. Applying for more lots does not raise your chance.
  • An estimate. The real number of applications and the lottery decide it, and the registrar publishes the basis of allotment after the issue closes.
  • In the retail category only one application per PAN counts. Two applications with the same PAN can both be rejected.
